Which version of Captivate are you using? Full number please, as mentioned under Help, About Captivate.

To fill a shape with a bitmap image, have a look at:

http://blog.lilybiri.com/turn-an-image-into-a-button

If you convert it to a button, yuo automatically have a rollover state as well, which can also be filled with a bitmp image.
