Hi

 

Am I able to just save the audio part of the presentation and edit it to use in a podcast, or is there another adobe software that is more suitable. .  Thanks.

All audio clips used in a Captivate module are stored in the Library, usually as WAV format.  But you can export them from there (or from the Audio > Advanced Audio Management dialog).  With HTML5 output Captivate usually breaks the audio into one clip for each slide.  If you just wanted one long clip that contained all slide audio, you might need to 'stitch' them together in an audio editing application such as Adobe Audition or the free app Audacity.
