Branch aware - how to disable?

In my Captivate Quiz Properties > Settings panel, branch aware is selected and I could not deselect it as it is inactive. I'm unable to figure out what causes this check box to be inactive.

My actual problem is "In my skin editor, playbar buttons such as play, pause, forward, rewind, etc are disabled. When I checked internet, some one had directed to the branch aware setting. But I couldn't figure out how to disable branch aware setting"

Can someone help?

Hi,

usually play, pause..etc options will be disabled in play bar if you have branch aware enabled in your project. Branch aware can be disabled at Quiz properties->Settings panel-> uncheck branch aware.

Hope this helps

Charu explained why navigation (also by TOC) is disabled if Branch aware is activated. Same happens when you have Pretest sides, which need to be at the start of the project in sequence, and cannot be revisited once the pretest is over.

Hope this is the case.... You cannot convert Pretest slides to KC or quiz slides if you wonder about that. Try to hide them temporarily and see if ou can uncheck Branch aware in that situation?
