Captivate 2019 Filmstrip slides disappearing

I created a new responsive project from scratch and got 79 slides into it at the endo of the day (saving along the way). When I returned to it the next day, none of the slides appear in my Filmstrip. The first slide appears, but the none of the text is visibible on it. I can see none of the other slides.

I previewed the project and the project plays, but the text from the buttons is missing as is some of the text from the Master Slides.

Any ideas what's going on?

Can you confirm the version of the software and the operating system?

Can you add a coupl eof screenshot to illustrate your issue?

The software is Adobe Captivate 2019 (11.5.1.499). The image is below

Looks like coruuption. Are you on Windows?

Yes. Windows 10.

Can you clear the cache (Preferences, General Settings). Try also to clean the Preferences: close Captivate, find the subfolder 'utils' under the installation folder and run CleanPreferencesWin.bat.

Ok. That got the Filmstrip slides and the buttons back, but the variable text I have for the slide title, the button text, and the other text on the slide are still missing.

Is the theme you use created in this version of Captivate?  Is it a custom theme? If yes, did you upgrade it to this version of Captivate? 

It is a Fluid Boses project I think (you label it as a responsive project).  

Do you have the same problems when previewing?

This is interesting. For whatever reason, the text was removed from the Text boxes and buttons. I'm just going to add it back. thanks for all your help!
