Captivate 2019 Update Failed

While trying to update to the latest version it failed at 90% and since then when I try to download a file it says I can't as "there is no app associated with it. Please install an app or, if one already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page". Although it's installed it's not showing in that list and neither is it showing in the list of all my apps although my earlier version of Captivate 9 is displaying. I do need to keep this version as well.

 

I tried downloading the trial version so that I could put in my software key but didn't get that option. I did though get 2 emails from Adobe saying my trial had begun!

 

Can anyone please advise the best way for me to get back to being able to use Captivate?

 

Everything was working fine until the failed update.
