Captivate 2019 - Voice gets Louder

Hello all,

I have the latest Captivate 2019 installed. I tried recording audip snippets. Using a headset. The background sound clears it quite well. However every audio snipet I record for each slide seems to increase my volumne gradually till the end of the slide !! There is no setting anywhere to undo this.

I have played with varying bitrates but I still get this increase in volume.

I do not have a license for Adobe Audition, but I am sure this setting can be handled somewhere.

Regards

M.

Hello all,

Wanted to close this thread. The problem was with the OS - Windows 10. It was messing up the audio of Captivate. I had to install a specific driver (company authorized) for my soundcard after which the audio was clear.

Regards

Mario

Never had that experience... Alternative for Audition is Audacity, which is free.

Select Audio clip in Library. Use right-click menu, Edit with, and point to
the Audacity exe file. Same would be needed if you had Adobe Audition.

You don't have the power to close the thread, wonder even if you can delete it.

Do you allow me to lock the thread, and I will mark your last answer as being 'correct' since it explains what fixed the problem. Happens often, outdated device drivers can mess up a lot.
