Hi all,
Is it possible for a 360 video to continue playing after a user has clicked on a hotspot and then closed it (by either submitting an answer to a question or closing a text box etc). At present the user has to either click the play button at the bottom of the screen to continue playing the video or if viewing using VR goggles needs to click on the 4 squares and bring up the navigation controls. This seems clunky and takes the user out of the experience in my opinion.
Any advice welcome!
You didn't tell it was a question slide on the hotspot. That makes it indeed more complicated, I never used a pure VR project with questions, prefere a normal cptx project with VR slides.
I could reproduce the problem. At this moment I only see a clumsy workaround: having two hotspots on the same location, and instruct with Correct and Incorrect image to click the second hotspot which is set to Continue. Or instruct to use the playbar.
You should launch a bug report. Especially 360 Video needs t

Hi,
Thanks for your quick response!
It was a VR project in guided mode. I have noticed that it is where I have been using hot spots for questions. If it is just a text box etc I have the option to continue playing the project, whereas if I choose to have a question the option to continue playing isn't available. Once I hit submit on an answered question it goes back to the hotspot but does not continue playing the video.
I can get a screenshot next Monday.
Thanks

You should launch a bug report. Especially 360 Video needs to improve, but that is just my personal opinion of course.
If I think of another workaround will let you know.

Lilybiri I also just tried the second hotspot and it is better than having to click on the play button or bring up the navigation in VR mode.
I will contact Adobe as Captivate VR has real potential but seems like a beta version at present.
Thanks for your help.

Did you manage to find a work around apart from two hotspots in the same location? I too have come accross this problem and need to resolve this.
