Captivate 9 (Nonresponsive Project): loss of image and/or image features after publishing to HTML5

I'm working on a Captivate 9 project which was created by importing slides from PPT. All is well until publishing....the image should appear with a "dotted line" (see attached). However, the "dotted line" becomes solid. Does anyone know why this could be happening?

The only work around I have is to upgroup the objects within the ppt and take screenshots.

Why? Because the import PPT slides is not perfect... I never use it at all.  Each PPT slide is converted to a movie slide, trying to reproduce the PPT animations and timing. Apparently a line which is partially dotted is not in its conversion library.
