Captivate 9 - You Tube Video URL Truncated

Hi!  Is there a fix for Captivate 9  regarding You Tube URLs being truncated?  I saw one for 2017. 

I copied and pasted a URL in my file using the You Tube Widget and it got truncated.  Then I typed in the URL and tested it and the URL does not work.

Hi Norma,

I don't use the YouTube widget (learning interaction). Instead what I do is use the embed code from the YouTube video with a web object. This way there's no risk of the YouTube API not working and you maintain control. Here is a video tutorial I did on this.

I was super excited to try your suggestion as the widget or adding it as an "Interaction" under YouTube did not work.  However, I have not been able to get your suggestion to work.  Any additional suggestions would be appreciated.  It shows in the web window after I "embed" but it will not play and it will not let me preview it

Try publishing it out to a webserver. This method won't work running it from your desktop.
