Creating Question Pools with Existing Questions

Hello (new) friends!

Stumped on a question pool issue. It may be something simple, but I am unable to populate question pools with existing questions.

I've created a question pool (and then a second, just to be sure), and am unable to right click on quiz questions and add them to the pool. As you can see, the slides in the film strip are questions (note grad-cap icon).

Any ideas? I'm using the latest release of Captivate 11.

In other blogs, it seems there is supposed to be an option in the dialog box there -- unless that's been deprecated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

What names did you give your question pools? You need to be careful with naming.  If you have used numbers or special characters in the names, try changing the pool names to a single word all lower case and see if that fixes the issue.

I used the default name for the question pools and tried creating two after

the first didn't work (Pool1 and Pool2).

I'll try lowercase.

You can move final question slides into question pools. The grad cap icon represents knowledge check questions (practice questions). You can only put scored questions (final quiz) into question pools.

Have a look at:

Knowledge Check Slides - tips - Captivate blog

It explains differences between Quiz slides and KC slides.
