Deeply distressed with Captivate crash

Two months later happy to get my captivate 2019 update  for OS Catilina only to found is crashes at exactly the same place as it did before loads then go to click new and crash.

 

Cant find a person to talk to and having lost money not being able to complete captivate work I know have to play find the problem again.

Since I am a Windows user and rarely see a Mac user on the forums to help his fellow Mac users, I am afraid not to be able to help you. Maybe you should explain exactly what happens: when does Captivate stop responding?

I'm not sure if this will help you, but...whenever you update Captivate you should always reset your Preferences folder.  Did you do that?

Basicly what happens is that it loads then I get   this on load

then it loads captivate right up to showing last projects then crashes Screen video of problem I have a year subsciption and donloaded it from my products.Screenshot 2019-12-09 at 21.42.40.png

If you are getting this screen saying your trial has expired then Captivate does not recognise you as being logged as someone who has a valid subscription paid up to use Captivate.  That's why it is 'crashing'.  It's just shutting down the app because it doesn't believe you have rights to use it.

 

Have you tried logging into the Adobe website with your Adobe ID and then tryign to open Captivate?

PROBLEM SOLVED

 

Adobe got in touch turned out to be a permission issue they took 25min and had everything up and running.
