When I want to download character in the discover tab, I receive this error:
A fatal error has occurred and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective project folders as ".cpbackup" files.
And then Adobe Captivate doesn’t work.

Can you please check the exact version number you are using under Help, About Captivate? The most recent version for Windows is 184.108.40.2063. If you have a lower version of 11.5, please update.

The version of mine is 220.127.116.119.
Is it necessary to update it to 18.104.22.1683 version?
It is a bug fix, always good to upgrade. Although I am not sure that it will solve this particular problem.
Discover in the Assets panel is getting you to the eLearning Brothers site. Are you behind a firewall in a company?
No, I'm at home.
However, my firewall is off.
Try to delete the Characters 11.5 in the eLearning Assets under Public Documents. Captivate needs to be closed.
I did it, But the problem hasn't been solved.
Delete all eLearning assets in the public folder, related to 11_5 (if you had previous versions installed, you may have also assets from previous versions). Clean the preferences as well.
