Which Preview method did you try? Responsive  or non-responsive project? Which version are you usig (full number please) on which OS?

If it is a non-responsive project and you want to output to HTML5, please try Preview HTML in Browser.

And if your Glossary doesn't appear even when you preview in an HTML5-compliant browser such as Chrome, then here is something you can do to try and isolate the problem cause:

  1. Opening a new blank Captivate project and change nothing in the project file at all.
  2. Insert the Glossary interaction onto one of the slides, but do NOT add any text in the Glossary at all.
  3. Publish and test this new project in Chrome browser.

If the Glossary DOES appear this time, then your issue is likely to be with having certain types of characters present in your Glossary text.  Remove any special characters such as ampersands and chevrons (&, <, >).  Don't use parentheses in the Glossary Term field.
