I have a simple quiz that needs one thing for it to be complete

when the user answers a question usually there is a msg feedback whether it's right or wrong plus a written msg that says click anywhere to continue and it stays frozen for some time.

is there a way to make the quiz go forward without having to click somewhere and without waiting lots of time?

Have a look at this blog, explaining the Submit process:

https://elearning.adobe.com/2019/02/captivates-quizzes-2-submit-process/

You can skip the second step, but the learner needs to have time to read the feedback message, you can find workarounds here:

https://elearning.adobe.com/2019/04/quiz-tweak-4-submit-process/

If you find the waiting time too long, you may have slide audio, which is not paused by the pausing point of the quiz slide. You need to move that pausing point more towards the end. Alternative: replace the Continue action for Success and Last Attempt events by 'Go to Next Slide'. May lead to possible issues if you learners are on low bandwidth.

Full list of my recent blogs about quizzing can be downloaded here:

Do not be astonished by the amount, quizzing is one of Captivate's functionalities which is not very well understood by most developers.
