Greetings, I am interested in creating a Knowledge Check that is similar in functionality to the one detailed in the link below. I do not know what software/technology was used to create the training. I would prefer to create the Knowledge Check in Captivate 2017, but if necessary, I would attempt to create it in Animate, JavaScript, HTML, etc. Please view the link to a PDF for more details. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I'm just a user... rather jobless as well since the 'Americans first' moto.

As I wrote before, I'm pretty sure it can be created with CP fnnctionality for non-responsive projects, which can be rescalable for HTML output. At this mometn it will be impossible with Fluid Boxes because of all the limitations like the strict 2D dimension (no stacking). No score makes it easier. Creating groups (what has to be slided), using custom motion paths and well designed actions. It will need some reflection but can be done.

Of course you can create a HTML animation with Animate CC and maybe use JS to interact with Captivate controls. Personally I would try with CP functionality, feeling it can be done.

My intuitions tells me it can be done, using effects shared actiosn (better than advanced actions) and variables, if you are talking about a non-responsive project. It will be impossible in a responsive project developed with Fluid Boxes, and doubt it is practicable to do with Breakpoints.

Other missing detal: no need for showing any score?

Hi Lieve,

I'm so honored that you replied! I've read so many of your articles and posts/replies helping others.  I love your work and all the support you provide the Captivate community! Currently, the project is not responsive. However, I would eventually like it to be. I thought that if it could be done using HTML or Javascript then I could embed it. There is no score just instant feedback. If you would like to see the example demonstrated, I found the following video on YouTube which displays the exact interaction/functionality I would like to replicate.

Thank you so much for responding!

It appears the video does not demonstrate the second slide.

You're also quite humble. A humble Rockstar! Thanks for further elaborating on the subject. I found an article you wrote titled "Power of Shared Actions in Captivate." I'll review it and try and figure it out. Thanks!

Why boasting? There are enough boasters around... look at all those dictators with their narcissist behavior. BTW I am a classical flutist, specialised in impressionism and avant-garde, but like to play tango as well.

It is a challenge, you can always come back with more questions if you are stuck. I talked about shared actions because you probably will have this situation on multiple slides. But you first have to figure it out with advanced actions.

Yeah, I figured you played the flute (I saw your pic on your Bio). Good for you! It's a great instrument. Thanks for your help. If I figure something out worth sharing, I'll attempt to reply to this post. Cheers!
