Is the "IT Team" the people behind your Learning Management System? If so, is this error being flagged by their LMS or is it just because they are running very strict error messaging in the browser? (Not all errors will actually prevent your course from successfully running for end users.)
One thing you should always do when LMS people say there is something wrong with a Captivate SCORM module is to upload the same module to SCORM Cloud and see if it works there. If it does, go back to your LMS people and ask them why their LMS has a problem.
