Hi,
I am working on captivate 9. I have not recorded the video but inserted mouse objects later. Although the mouse action is pretty fast in most places, I find it very very slow at some places. I checked all the properties if I was missing something. It seems the same as the rest of the mouse pointers inserted.
I need help in understanding this.

Shorten timeline of mouse object.

Tried that too. Looks like some edit/update isn’t happening.

What do you mean?

Is this a Video Demo recording or a Software Simulation recording?

I have just inserted a screen shot and added a mouse object later. Added
mouse an an object in all the slides. Am not sure why it's functioning with
the right speed in one slide, and very very slow just in the next slide.

PW's question was clearly off topic. There is no way to insert a mouse object on a Video Demo slide, that is only possible on software simulation slides.

You of all people should know that the descriptions aren't always what they appear to be. I asked because there is an issue with mouse movement going really slow on edited video demo.

Could you please show us screenshots of the timeline of each of these slides showing the duration of the mouse object on the timeline?

Talked about the timeline already.... he told shortening the mouse timeline has no effect????

People's descriptions of what they've done don't always perfectly match what the screenshots show.
I'm asking to see screenshots. Please let the poster decide whether or not they want to show them.

Hi,
I guess I kind of identified a temporary or real work around. when i say
'rest of the slide' as a property for the mouse pointer, it's getting
unusually slow, even if the mouse duration is very less-1 sec or lesser.
Once I say 'specific time', it's working faster.
Not sure if this is a solution..will definitely share the screen shots if
the issue persists.

That is what I tried to explain, in vain. The speed of the mouse object on a slide depends on the duration of its timeline. You answered that you tried to change the duration, but now it seems that it was not the case.

Yes, You said 'shorten timeline of mouse object'
Looking back I get it now. Then I understood as no of seconds or its length
on the timeline.

It was a terminology problem, indeed. Try to learn more about the Timeline!

How about that...what a surprising result.

hi,
here are two screen shots of mouse pointers with settings that I applied.

This is definitely a bug (one of many in the product that pop-up occasionally).
Am using Captivate 2019 and in random slides the mouse pointer moves so slowly that it doesn't get to its destination before the slide finishes.
I am talking about the Captivate-generated mouse on a screenshot slide.

If you are talking about a screenshot capture with a mouse object on top showing the mouse movement, then the timing of this object can easily be adjusted on the slide.
