Name or ID of person taking quiz?

How do you know who is taking the quiz? IS there a way to enter your name or an ID number or something?

Captivate is an eLearning authoring tool which is meant to be used in ocmbination with a LMS  (Learning Management system). THe LMS takes care of managing the user accoutns, keeping scores in a gradebook,  track views etc. Adobe has a LMS (Captivate Prime), but there are many LMS's available.

Two user variables are created automatically in each new Captivate project. If the LMS is allowing it, they will have the data of the learner's account. More info in my blog posts about system variables.

The LMS takes the user's registered name and ID and populates a variable in Captivate which you can access (cpQuizInfoStudentName, cpQuizInfoStudentID).

You can also have the student type a name into a text entry box and save that to a variable.
