Overlay Slide Fade-In without Transition Property Set

I am experiencing difficulty removing the transition from a video file to overlay slide. I am noticing a fade in/fade out transition even though the properties is set to no transitions. I am fairly new at using Adobe Captivate. Is this changeable to remove the transition fade? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You are using version 11 or 11.5 since you talk about interactive video. 

I suspect the fading is by design. The background video needs to be dimmed and any effect needs some duration. What do you really want? You are the first to complain about that feature, I don't mind it at all. Have a look at this example of an interactive video:
