PhoneGap Login Failed

I am trying to use the 'Publish for Devices (app)' option for the first time in Captivate 9. Whenever I enter my Adobe ID, however, I get a message that reads "PhoneGap Login Failed". Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there some simple step I've missed?

Thanks

-Steve

Thanks, I tried that but it still didn't work. That seems to address a different error message. Mine is just "PhoneGap Login Failed".

Hi,

Please try checking your machine firewall and or any VPN/proxy settings on your machine to see if that may be blocking it.

Regards,
Sharad

Thanks, Sharad. My computer support staff checked it out and it is indeed an issue with firewall settings.

For the sake of anyone else that has this issue, I should note that adjusting settings for this is no simple task - at least for my organization. The technician assisting me still hasn't solved the problem and this is because (as I understand it) there could potentially be various sites, sub-sites, and third-party sites involved in the login process, so exceptions need to be made for all of them and identifying them can take some time. As a quick fix, I was able to login to PhoneGap by taking my computer home and doing it through my own internet connection.
