Hello.

We are trying to publish to computer and then upload a file to our LMS (Cornerstone); are there any directions, assistance anyone could provide? We are having a lot of difficulties with this.

I have no idea if your LMS accepts packages as well as SCO's. However I am sure it will accept SCO's. Set up Reporting in your project, even if you don't have a Quiz in the course. Setup is done under Quiz, Preferences, Reporting.

When publishing automatically a zipped folder will be created, including all the necessary SCORM files. Upload that zipped folder to the LMS, it will recognize it as a SCO and launch the course.

We did publish the zipped folder up to Cornerstone; it didn't work though.

Is it a SCO? You did set up the Reporting in Quiz Preferences? It is different from just publishing to a zipped folder. Can you test it out by uploading to SCORM Cloud, to see if the problem is to be found in the LMS or in Captivate?

We did set up reporting in the Quiz Preferences; but it's still not working. When you try to launch the course; it opens a dialogue box to download the file. We cannot have that for our group. We need the session to just play.

This is, obviously, human/user error but we can't identify what it is.

We can preview in SCORM Cloud; but not upload. I'd attach screen shots but the images are too big for what this posting allows. Frustration level is at max, to say the least.

If it works in SCORM Cloud, the problem has to be searched for in the LMS, not in Captivate.
