Questions Transitioning on completion slowly

My quiz questions are transitioning slowly after the correct attempt.  How do I increase the transition speed to more automatic, if possible?

For example, after the correct answer, the quiz will not advance to the next question for about 2 or 3 seconds sometimes more...  This has been tested on multiple networks and machines, but it happens consistently so I am pretty positive that it is not a network issue.

Look at the timeline of the quiz slides. Default setting is a pausing point at 1,5seconds, but you may have increased the duration of the slides. The default actions in the Quiz Properties are all set to 'Continue', which means that the playhead has to continue till the end of the slide. If the inactive part of the slide is long, that can can take a while. Best solution is to drag the pausing point near the end of the slide (not totally at the end). You cannot do that with the Timing panel, it has to be done with the mouse.

Another workflow, but which could cause problems in case of low bandwidth, is to replace the Continue action by 'Go to Next Slide.

it is again.... al about the Timeline:
