Hi all. I just found that the quiz function in Cap 2019 still has swf functionality in the use of hotspots. I thought swf wasn’t been supported anymore, nor were we allowed to use any of its functionality. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks.

I assume you are referring to the Hotspot animations?  Yes, the default ones are SWF.  You need to replace them with Animated GIFs.

Alterantive is to create a custom hotspot slide, which is not that hard and had the possibility to use partial scoring which is impossible for a default hotspot question slide. Here is a possible workflow (for 11.5 where you can use SVG as button):

If you really want an Animated GIF that you can use to replace the default SWF one that comes with Captivate, take a look at this page: https://infosemantics.com.au/how-to-use-animated-gifs-as-hot-spot-animations/

You can download the Animated HotSpot GIF that I used for a recent client's HTML5 project. The page even shows what it looks like.
