Please offer some more details. Which version do you use (full version number as mentioned under Help, About Captivate).
Do you have audio in the course, or only text? Text and slide notes can be exported to Word or XML, translated and re-imported.
Do you have a quiz? If yes, do you have the quiz text in a GIFT file which can easily be translated and re-imported. You will still have to edit the Preferences for each language, but using GIFT files is a great way to translate.

Hi Lily
I have another quesion if it ok...
I finished and downloaded the project to my computer as HTML...
I have copyed it to our server (application support etc) and have a link for it
In some browsers people see the video in the project and some don't ...
Do you know by any chance if this is something related to CP?
I have the newest version as mentioned above
And according to your guidelines, my video is set to SLIDE VIDEO
thanks
Tom

You don't 'copy' to a server, you have to upload the folder.... HTML output is like a website, need to follow the same workflows. Webserver needs to support JSON as well.

Obviously I uploaded the entire folder (I copied it means I have a cached copy and another copy on the server)
And I also have a working link so the e-learner works 🙂
(as at this point we do not have LMS, but we are on it...)

If some people see your video and others don't, that would tend to indicate the problem is more likely to be at the end user's end. If nobody could see the video, then I would be saying something could be wrong with the content. But not if only a percentage of users are having problems. You need to ask questions to find out what the common denominator is with those experiencing issues. E.g. Are they using the same browser?

If you start the course with a video, I hope you haven't placed it on the very first slide. It's generally best to have a short slide right at the beginning of the project that doesn't have any objects, and especially nothing that requires a heavy download.
If some users are not seeing anything, perhaps the issue is that they are not on good bandwidth. How big is this introductory video?

Look under the File menu, Export, To XML. You'll find a similar command in the Import menu.
