HI.

I need to install the patch for Captivate 2017 on a Mac Os system to get a bug fix.

I am running Mac Os 10.16.6 and have Creative Cloud installed as well.  I also still have Captivate 9 installed. So I am wondering if it is either of those scenarios.

Captivate 2017 does not show available  Updates under the Help menu

I get an error about not being able to install the patch directly from a download.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Dan

Did you perhaps install a hotfix? Can you please check the exact version number you are using under Help, About Captivate?

Lilybiri.

Thanks for your help. I have Captivate 2017 10.0.0.192 running and I am trying to install Patch 10.0.1.285.

I need the fix for the variables not displaying in object states issue.

Thanks again.

I am not a Mac user, but you may have installed a hotfix even though the number didn't change (maybe to be able to run on High Sierra).

Did you try the workflow at the end of:
