I am trying to evaluate Captivate for my company and I am hitting the same road block over and over. I have downloaded the installer (for Mac), I run the installer which gets to aroung 75% complete then it says:
When this first happend I re-downloaded the installer, cleared out the partial install and started again. I have now tried this 4 times with no change in the result. The 'get help' option is no help at all, it says: "Download the latest version of the installer and try again."
My system is as follows:
MacOS Catalina version 10.15.1
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
Processor: 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Radeon Pro 580 8 GB
Can anyone help??
Captivate 11.5.1 is not yet compatible with Catalina which was released recently.

They are working on a patch. Apple never cares about applications from other companies....
Same can happen with Windows, but attitude of Win users is bit different, they are more patient to install new OS.

Tell me about it! I am downloading the Windows version now as I run Windows on this Mac too

There is no problem with the WIndows version at all, use it daily.
