Hi,

I'm creating a simulated video, in which I've used the animated highlighted box to highlight the GUI elements. After publishing the file in HTML, I'm unable to view the highlighted box in HTML output. I used Google Chrome to view the output.

Please let me know how can I fix the issue.

Thank you,

Lisija

Can you please explain what you mean by 'the animated highlighted box'? Where did you find it in Captivate or is this an external element?

DId you also check on other browsers than Chrome? Was that after publishing and uploading to a webserver or a LMS?

Highlighted box available in Media > Animaton > Highlights > Red highlighter.

It worked in IE, but for security purposes, we are blocked to use IE.

Those are SWF animations. They will never play in HTML5 output. DId you not get a warning from the HTMLTracker?

Since it is a SWF as I told you CANNOT use it in HTML5 output, will never play as animation. You need to avoid everything what is mentioned under Project, HTML Tracker.

Is there any similar option that works in HTML?

No. You can use an effect applied to a highlight box. Effects are compatible with HTML output.
