I'm using an HP laptop and when select the puppet in the character animator, I got the GPU error, my system had DirectX installed.

Anyway to fix it, so I can use the character animator application?

The screenshot attached with all the system configure/settings

Thanks,

According to HP's website, this driver version is not what they recommend -> https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-840-g1-notebook-pc/5405360

I realize this is an older version, but you may want to give this version a try in case the newer version introduces these DirectX12 compatibility problems.  Intel is much quicker to abandon driver updates than AMD and NVidia and since both of these drivers are dated 2020, if this version of the driver doesn't work, you might consider using an older version of Character Animator (23.0) until you have access to a newer machine.
