Adobe Character Animator Puppet Movement

Explorer ,
Feb 09, 2018 Feb 09, 2018

Hi! I'm trying to create an animation on Adobe Character Animator, but one of the scenes includes the puppet lying in bed. How can I make my puppet lie down?

All of the tutorials I've watched are of puppets walking and/or doing other gestures.

You could try playing with "Rotate" under "Transform". But not sure how natural it will look etc.

Hi jojop,

Sorry, there is no dedicated method to animate a character laying down. Please file a feature request for this function here: Character Animator Feature Requests

Edit: I just heard you do not need the character animated to the laying down position. You just want the character in a vertical position. Can you try rotating the character? Does that work for you?

I'll continue looking for other solutions for you.

Thanks,
Kevin
