Hello. So... The visemes. 🤦🏻:male_sign: Is there ever going to be a proper fix on getting the visemes to function correctly? I speak extremely clear into my microphone and the audio from my files are very clear, but, it takes me several hours - and I mean several; like 5 hours or so - to change the visemes, so that the puppet's mouth moves correctly. Even though my audio recordings are a bit long - 12 minutes or more - it shouldn't take me 5 hours to correct 12 minutes of audio. My eyes are burning! 😂 I am about to create a YouTube channel. But... This visemes problem. Don't get me wrong, it's a huge upgrade from what was there before - thank goodness. But, please... One of these days, when you guys do have the time, please begin resolving the problem so it doesn't take so many hours to get my puppet's mouth to sync up with - almost every word. Well, not every word. But word like "while" "wow" - mainly words with the letter W. I generate captions from Premier Pro and every sentence is pretty much on par. Other than that. Awesomeness. Thank you so much for creating Character Animator! The channel I am about to create is going to be absolutely amazballs!!! 😂 🫶 But the visemes issue really needs to be addressed soon. Thanks a bunch!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Firstly, I get you. Having to manually fix visemes is extremely tedious and often feels slower than just creating them from scratch.
My advice would be to first segment down sections to 3 mins max. No matter what machine you have, Character Animator doesn't like big scenes. Merge them together in Premiere Pro when you are done.
Next would be to add a transcript of your audio so that Character animator can reference that when it struggles with diction. Right click your audio file in the prject panel and select "Import Transcript for Lip Sync...". You can get a very good transcript from Premiere Pro. Just fix up the words it has struggled with. Much faster than fixing visemes!
Hope that helps.
