Hi everyone,

I probably missed this somewhere but I was wondering if someone could tell me the easiest way to animate a prop in a scene for character animator. This would be for a puppet to interact with a prop and also for a prop to move without interaction. If there is any advice or a video someone could point me towards it would be appreciated so much!!

Thanks!!

It depends on what animation you want to do. I normally just draw the prop in a separate file and import as a puppet (without eyes, legs, etc) and move it around using the transform behavior.

I did a butterfly with cycle layers for flapping wings, a flower bending in the wind with physics, dangles, and gravity pointing upwards. But just using Transform behavior gets you a long way.

Do you know if It works the same way with a computer mouse? Can it be its own separate file or do I have to create it as a layer on my puppet? I want to be able to drag the mouse around in my scene.
