I've been using CA for 8 months and didn't realize you could have the Timeline AND Puppet window open at the SAME TIME! I just happened to look under window and selected "Puppet" while in the timeline. I've been going back and forth, back and forth.

Shouldn't both windows be open as default?

Wow.

We clearly need to make this capability more obvious, but as for defaulting that way there would be a downside: with the Puppet panel showing in the Record mode, every change you make in the puppet panel takes time to refresh the Scene panel. Great when you want it, but slows you down if you don't.

Yes I understand that sometimes you wouldn't want both open as it still has to update but man, it is nice to have both open and make an adjustment to the rig and not have to jump back and forth to see the changes.

Thanks for the reply!
