Best, most cost efficient Mac computer for Creative Cloud incl. Character Animator and After Effects

Aloha,

I am looking for a new computer. My old 2017 MacBook Pro struggles with Adobe Character Animator and After Effects, it crashes a lot, I get errors about not having enough disk space and the fan is so loud when I am using these programs that it muffles the audio in my clips. I am looking at the MacBook Mini and the new MacBook Pro with the M1 chip and the 2TB HD assuming that the chip is the way to go, not the IMAC with the Intel technology. Any suggestions?
