Can I Automate Puppet Arm Movements with Imported Audio in Adobe Character Animator?

Hi everyone,
I’m using Adobe Character Animator as part of my Creative Cloud plan, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to automate a puppet’s arm movements based on imported audio.
For example, in Adobe Express, the animation automatically includes lip sync and some body movements (like arm gestures) when audio is added, but it’s limited to two minutes. I’d like to achieve something similar in Character Animator but without manually triggering every arm motion.
Is there a way to automate this, or do I need to use manual triggers for the puppet’s arm movements while it talks? Any guidance would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I'm not familiar with the way puppets are handled in Adobe Express. However, in Starter version, you're sort of confined to the triggers for poses. Those triggers still exist in Pro mode, but you'll also have the ability to use body tracking to make gestures with your limbs while you're recording. Body Tracking (Adobe Character Animator)

I appreciate the info about body tracking and triggers, but my question is more about automating the arm movements based on imported audio rather than using real-time tracking.
In Adobe Express, when you upload an audio file, the software automatically generates basic movements, including lip sync and simple arm gestures, without requiring manual input. I’m wondering if Adobe Character Animator has a similar feature where the puppet’s arms can move automatically without me manually animating or using triggers.
Or is the only option to manually set up arm movements using triggers or recorded body tracking?
Thanks again for your help!

Currently, there is no way to automatically generate arm/hand or other body motions based on an uploaded audio track. Just mouth and head.
