Can I use a joypad (or MIDI) for eye gaze AND walk direction

Hello,

I've set up a joypad control (via software which converts buttons to keypresses) to use the keyboard arrows to control eye direction (up, down, left, right)

I'd now like to separately control the walk animation - up, down, left and right using a separate joystick. Have I hit a limitation in Character Animator where these separate properties both have to use the arrow keys? Is there any way to set either of them to midi or custom keyboard keys?

Thanks
James Houston

I hacked my way out of this one - I used software called Controllermate to simulate mouse presses for the eyes, and I'm simulating keyboard presses for the walk direction. If I could add a request it would be to independantly assign these.
