Can not Import with Transparent background

Hello , 

I have selected a transparent background in character animator. (transparent selected.jpg attached).

But on importing video inside Pr it shows dark black background .(steps recorded no transparent background .mp4 attached)

What can be the possible mistake I'm doing here , please highlight.

MP4s don't support alpha channels (transparency). You need to use a format that does, such as ProRes 4444. You can go to the File menu and choose the Export > Video with Alpha via Adobe Media Encoder, which will open Media Encoder and choose ProRes 4444. Note, not only is ProRes a significantly higher quality format than MP4, but including an alpha channel will also increase the size of your file. This sequence is short, so it might only be a few hundred MB, but it won't be tiny like a MP4 would be.
