Character Animator 22.2 doesn't register all available cameras. Only OBS Virtual Camera. M1 MacMini

The 22.2 version of CarAnim only gives the option of the OBS virtual camera as a source.
As I want to feed the NDI stream to OBS as a source this is not an option. I want to use OBS's virtual camera not have it used.
The 2020 version of Character Animator provides a list of all availible camera souces for tracking face and body movemnt. The beta for the M1's is the same I get all camera options. I belive the 2020 version is the intel version so I cant imagine the problem's with M1-ARM.
A bug perhaps? Be great if someone knows of a fix or if the devs added a bug fix for this.
For the time being I'm using 2020 version on the Mac.

I'm not 100% sure I'm following you here.
You are trying Ch on a Windows machine, correct?
And you have a webcam plugged into that machine that is not showing up in Ch, correct?
If that's the case, the first thing to try would be the built-in Windows "Camera" app. If your webcam shows up in the Camera app likely it will work with Ch. If not, then likely it won't work with Ch.
Please give us a few more details so we can help.

Hi there.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I did state very clearly that I am using a Mac Mini 2021 M1 computer.
So no I am not using a windows machine. It is an apple machine.
It has no native webcam. Hence the need to plug in an external webcam.
As I have stated other earlier versions of Char Anim using the Mac recognise all of the availible cameras.
This is entirely a software bug.
OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) has a function virtual cam. With Apple it could be considered an "aggregate device". Basically this allows other programs to recog ise ot as a source for sound and video.
Aggregate devices can be from a camera or other hardware that should be able to be recognised by software.
Earlier iterations of Char Anim recognise all devices that are plugged in.
This version of Char Anim doesnt regognise any other camera other than OBS Virtual Camera.
This is a problem as I want to feed the info/data/animation/stream (what ever you wa t to call it) from Char Anim to OBS via NDI.
I wont explain NDI (easy to look up)
The problem is I cant use OBS as a camera source because I need to use OBS. Catch 22.
It's a buggy version of Char Anim.
All I was hoping fir was a bug fix.
Hope that clarifies things.
Thanks

I totally missed that you are using a M1 Arm Mac. Sorry about that!
Help me understand more about what you are trying to do here. Please verify if I have this right:
1) You would like to use an OBS virtual camera to provide the webcam input to Ch. (because your M1 Arm Mac Mini doesn't have a camera)
2) You want to use NDI output from Ch to OBS (for streaming?)
It sounds like you have two different video streams. Are you running two different copies of OBS for this? (One to act as input to Ch and one to get the ch output?)
Best Regards,
Geoffrey

Can you send a screenshot of the supported cameras in CH 2020?

Although this is still a problem I just use the version of Character Animator that recognises all camera devices connected to my computer. It's a bug in the program that is only in a few versions, as it was never an issue before.
This screen shot is from the PC I'm using but this issue was in Mac. Screen shots are of menu to choose availible cam and the cams that are recognised by Char Anim.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue.
If you use the built in "Photo Booth" application, does it see all of the cameras on your system? Or does it see the same cameras at Character Animator does?
