Character animator will not start

I'm Jordan and I just learned about Character Animator from a friend. It will download but no matter what I do I keep getting a window that says The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. I am using windows 8.

I think that I found the problem. I do not think it is compatible with windows 8 so I will try to get windows 10 and see what happens.

Our minimum specs are the same as After Effects:
