I created a character in illustrator but when I scale it up in after effects, the hands are going somewhere else and the legs somewhere else. How do I fix this problem?

Can you please provide screenshots and more detail? This post is in the Character Animator forum, but you only referenced Illustrator and After Effects. Is Character Animator part of your workflow?
