Hi! New user of Character Animator. The whole point was to create a character for my pc gaming. It runs at the fps I set in the software, but then I connect it to OBS, start the game and boom, frames drop to about 7. Has this issue been resolved? How do others livestream without having dropped frames?
Thanks!

I've reduced the size of my scene... and lowered my framerate. Still, as soon as I start the game it slows to under 10 fps.
PC Specs:
-RTX 3070
-64 GB DDR4-2933 MHz RAM
-Core i7
I can run pc games.. pc vr games.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

It usually means that your puppet is too complex with multiple views, walk cycles, props, furniture, etc. It's hard to prepare for streaming and not have a puppet that is "ready for anything." A quick test would be to try the scene with one of the generic puppets and see what your framerate looks like.

Thanks... unfortunately, it is a super basic puppet.. no legs no walking. I will try a generic one and see if it happens as well.

So, it might be the game that is consuming all of the resources. I'll try a different game and see if the same thing happens. Has anyone else had this issue? Maybe there is a workaround?
