Error: Failed to render warped image

Contributor ,
Dec 19, 2016 Dec 19, 2016

I was working in CH just now, and had just recorded a scene, and was about to enter the rigging of the puppet to place two fixed

I am using CH beta 5, AE 2017

This happened.

In after effects this happened:

aftereffectsoutofmemory.PNG

aftereffects-unknownexception.PNG

aftereffects-unspecifieddrawingerror.PNG

I restarted both applications - seems to work fine now.

We're not sure what's up. If you ever come across this again (or can save a copy and go to window > history and roll back the changes to trigger the error) and can share the project with us, that would be helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply oksamurai - could it be that this has something to do with RAM, as one of the error messages in AE suggests?

I got a message from AE (dialogue box) later, when working in both CH and AE, that said that memory is running low and that I should consider restarting. When i looked at the task manager, the memory usage was peaking at 16GB.

Sounds likely, yeah.

Hey @Okay Samurai. This happened to me too. It happened when i added draggable handles to the arm of the character. So then I had to remove it and find an alternate solution.
