Error When Starting New Project/selecting character

I'm new to Character Animator and after installing it, when I click on a character whether in starter or pro, it brings up an error. I've uninstalled and installed it multiple times with the same error every time. It's my first time using this specific application so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot.

Is it crashing when opening or not until you try to open a character? If it is the former, try holding down the ALT key when launching to clear any saved data.
