Exporting frames as vector art

Hi, guys.

All my workflow right now is geared at creating animated .svg files for use on the web.  To do this with an animated Character, I need to be able to export a series of frames in a vector format (in my dream world, a single .ai file with each frame as a layer).  Then, I can compile them into a big .svg file, make <animate> tags to display each frame one-by-one and so on.

How, other than exporting a series of image frames from Ch and using Image Trace on them in Illustrator, can I achieve this?

I don't think there is any support in CH for vector output. There is a "render as vector" flag for illustrator files, but I think (not sure!!) it just scales the vectors before rendering into pixels before it generates the output (instead of rendering to pixels and then scaling). Something like that.

So things like your trace idea are the only options I know of, if animating in CH.
