hi guys,
This is just an issue that I had and found the answer after some digging. Also a request for the Adobe team, maybe they can address it.
When I name a layer in Photoshop "Left Pupil Range", Character Animator automatically tags this layer as "Left Pupil" and "Left Pupil Range".
Tagging as both causes a weird behaviour when warping the pupils. In this case, you have to select the "Pupil Range" layer and uncheck the "Pupil" tag.
Well, I hope it makes sense.
Thanks!
Yeah, this is because "Left Pupil Range" doesn't get recognized on import - it's essentially what you get if you name a layer "Left Eyeball." So because of this, I think CH is just seeing the "Left Pupil" part and tagging it just as the pupil instead.
So before import, just call your left pupil range as "left eyeball" instead and it should be okay.
It's pretty crappy, agreed. We should fix this.

Is the list of tags in the Puppet Properties panel a master list of ALL tags that will automatically be added when Ps or Ai art is added (and the art is named correctly)?
