Normal. You'll notice every Character Animator chproj file includes a CH Data and CH Media folder. The data folder in particular keeps track of all your rigging, memory cache, etc - and in the current formatting can get kinda nuts sometimes. We hope to consolidate this more in the future.

@oksamurai, when you have a project that utilizes Ps/Ai, Ch, Ae, Pr and maybe even Au, how and where do you organize all the assets, project files & assets? One big folder named for the project, then the assets and project files inside? Is that possible with Character Animator's Gathered Media folders without creating the dreaded "file missing" error?

Thanks!

Also not sure how to organize things for archiving and later possible access.

I might start with the CH command "Copy Media Files Into Project Folder." It might miss the AE, PR and AU files, but it would give you a location for them.

Early on (2017!) I wrote up what I was doing.. I don't do this exactly now, but it might stimulate some ideas... https://extra-ordinary.tv/2017/12/04/project-structure/amp/. Bottom line I think is "be organized"

Yes, OriginalGC and Alan have great suggestions. Typically I make a folder called whatever my project is, like "CONSOLES," and just stuff everything into there. If everything stays in the same place you shouldn't ever see that file missing error. It's worked for me so far!

I'm afraid I do not understand your question, @Harry23950217lr95 Also, you might want to start a new thread for this.
