Hello guys, I have a Spongebob puppet doing the "imagination" animation, its 16 frames long but every time I play it... it lags, therefore missing some frames, I need to play it many times before it runs smoothly, but then if I press other triggers and come back to the "imagination" trigger, the same lag occurs, so again I need to play it many times to get it smooth. Is there something I'm missing, or it's the computer fault?

Is it during playback or when you export a video? Playback real time is an approximation for speed. If it is during media export I would check if you are using consistent fps in CH as the media encoder.

No, it happens in real time as it's going to air LIVE on television in a few weeks.

That might need a faster computer... There were some settings like whether to use hardware acceleration, but I have no experience with how to get optimal speed from them.

Could you do a short recording, export as media, then see if that has the same problem? If not then I suspect it’s just the real time engine trying to keep up, so drops some frames to keep the frame rate right.

@DanTull - any better suggestions?
