Hi,

I made a 30 scene where I have a character walking for a few seconds and then he stops. I have it under Position Based. I keyframed where I wanted it to start and end. It worked fine.

I want the puppet to swing his arms for 10 seconds, have them up in the air, have then stay like that but the puppet keeps walking.

I wanted the puppet to swing his arms for for 10 seconds and then have the arms stop swinging. This is what I did:

1) I started my scene from the beginning again and I pressed the Arm Swing Stop watch to add the keyframe. The number was at 0

2) I moved the playhead to 10 seconds and I changed the number on Arm Swing to another number where the arms are in the air.

3) This where I want the arms to stop swinging and remain in the air as the rest of the puppet keeps walking untill it stops 20 scconds later.

4) I right clicked on the 2nd keyframe of the Arm Swing.

5) I pressed Toggle Hold Keyframe

6) I restarted the scene from the beginning and when it fot to the keyframe where the arms werer in the air, it did not stop. It just kept walking as usual/

What am I doing wrong?

Hmm, I just tried playing around with this. It looks like holding and moving arm swing to 0 just brings them down to the sides. Keyframing arm angle seems to keep them held up. But it does look like it's working for me. If it persists can you post a video of what's happening please?
