Hello,

I'm new to CA, and having trouble implementing a Walk Cycle. The Head and Neck get stretched.

     I've attached the following:

  1. Screenshot of the Scene with the Puppets Stationary.
  2. Quicktime of the Walk Cycle.
  3.  Puppet's Neck Tagging.
  4.  Puppet's Head Tagging.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks much.

Regards,

Rajnesh

Try adding the neck tag to the same handle as the head tag.

Thank You.

Thanks for the detailed info.

1) Please remove all neck tags except the neck tag which is added in the same place as the head tag.

2) If the face is distorted, add a crown mark to the face layer and make it independent.

Thank you for writing back, K_Oshiro.

I tagged the Head with both "Head" & "Neck" Tags and tried it again. The Neck is still tagged as "Neck". However, the Problem still exists.

I've included/ attached 5 files:

  1.  Screenshot of Head Tagged as "Head" & "Neck" (See Below):Head Tagged as _Head and Neck_.png
  2.  Screenshot of Head Mesh shows attached to Neck and Body (See Below):

Head Mesh shows attached to Body.png

3. Neck shows it is tagged only as "Neck" (See Below):

Neck Tagged only as Neck.png

4.  Neck Mesh shows it is attached to Head and Body (See Below):

5. Attached Recording showing that the Problem is still there.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thank You,

Rajnesh

Thank you for your clear instructions, K_Oshiro. They fixed the problem.

I've attached a Recording of the final Walk Cycle.
