Hi there. I'm importing my puppets into AE. First one was fine but the second one has a white background attached. Can't see why it's there or how to get rid of it. Anyone have advice? Thank you.

Have you checked the original artwork file? (Are you sure there is not a white background there?)

Also, you normally import scenes rather than puppets into AE if using Dynamic Link i thought? Is there something else in the scene?

In CH do you see the checkerboard background pattern (indicating there is no background)? Just wondering if the problem is in AE or back in CH. I often drop a while rectangle behind the character in the scene.

If you could include a screenshot of the puppet hierarcy from rig mode plus a screenshot of the scene timeline that could help in confirming the above.

(Oh, I assume you are using dynamic link and not export video and bringing a video across?)

Thanks for the reply. You were right. I checked back into CH and although it wasn't visible in the imported scene, the puppet had a white background layer so that affected the scene also. Once deleted all was fine.
