Hi.
I'm trying to find a consistent, repeatable route through rigging and behaviour that follows from the online tutorials.
1 The dymamic platform is tagged with a drag behaviour and is draggable but has no visible behaviours in record mode.
2 The circle is tagged with a drag behaviour, the draggable behaviour is visible in the record mode but the circle is not draggable.
3 When the platform gets close to the circle the circle becomes attached to the platform and is draggable. What's happening?
Here is the circle in rig mode. The circle is tagged and has the draggable behaviour icon in the puppet layers.
Here is the dynamic platform in rig mode. It is tagged but has no behaviour icon in the puppet layers or in the properties although it behaves as expected.
Here are the "instructions" in rig mode. These may contain the universal behaviours for the scene/puppet but there is no draggable behaviour here.
Where do the draggable properties for the dynamic platform derive from?
Why is there no standard that all these elements conform to in terms of behaviour, tagging, and actual performance?
I'm struggling here. Any help appreciated.

It looks like the circle layer has a dragger behavior on it but the platform layer does not. On the circle layer, see th4 little lego blog looking icon? That indicates there is a behavior on that layer. For circle, it looks like a dragger has been put on that layer.
However the platform does not seem to have a dragger behavior. I think you need to add this so you can arm either the circle dragger or the platform dragger and record that. I don't think you can record the platform layer without adding a dragger behavior to the platform layer

Thanks for you response. But the dynamic platform is the only element that actually is draggable and works as expected despite having no apparent behaviour assigned to it. What you say is true about the circle but I tried both applying behaviours to the layer, the group, the main puppet. I tried changing the range of interaction but nothing makes it draggable except when it comes into close contact with the dynamic platform and sticks to it like a magnet.
My concern is not so much this actual scenario other than it seems to demonstrate inconsistencies at the heart of this programme. I'm just trying to establish if it is me or others are experiencing difficulties and finding solutions. If the animation is not approached in one particular way things don't function as expected and then prove difficult (impossible) to correct. Just trying to animate for myself is frustrating but when you are trying to present techniques and strategies for 20 15 year olds it becomes a nightmare.
